Mummification

Wrapping the Mummy You wouldn't want to be a Mummy!

1. Read the information on mummification (below)

2. Fill out the Graphic Organizer

3. Discuss the information and collaboratively determine how to wrap a mummy based on the information and the supplies provided.

4. Cut the sheet of card stock in half along the perforated lines.

5. Cut out the mummy pattern

6. Use the supplies provided to wrap the mummy using the method collaboratively agreed upon

7. Decide who will be your mummification expert (write their name on your folder)

8. Video record your mummification tour

9. Clean-up (all station 1 materials are put away and ready for next class)

10. Do your group self-assessment (on back of the GO) and ALL group members sign off

11. Turn in your folder
